Flowers from our garden and house.

A spider plant produces these delicate flowers briefly before growing new leaves on the "baby" branches.

Gladiolas from our garden. Sadly, they did not for the most part grow. The dead one to the right is more typical of what they each looked like.

CTM's Green Jay.

He was inspired yesterday by seeing his previous bird drawings.
I'm thrilled with his enthusiasm for drawing today. His eyes were animated as he declared that today's drawing would be a masterpiece.
Thanks, CTM!

"Could you make a history blog, Mom? About ancient things."

I like ancient things: some of the things they look like little scribbles but they're actually ancient writing. I like those ancient writing scribbles because they look cool, because of where they're found.

I like some of the buildings that were built in ancient times because some of them they have part of their frame sticking out.

I like the Great Wall of China because it's really lo
ng and in some pictures it goes up and down and it's really swervy and it would be fun to walk on it.

I like the Greek temples because of all the
pillars and all the stories about them.

And I like the description and the pictures of the statue of Zeus. I like the description because it's made of gold and ivory and it's made of all kinds of metal.

BTG's impressions of winter.
